Day of Surgery

What you need to know for the Day of Surgery:

It is important that you arrive at your scheduled time to enable our staff to complete a simple admissions process and prepare you for surgery. This is generally 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to your scheduled surgery time.

Check-in
When you arrive at our center we ask that you check-in at the registration desk to verify personal, escort and insurance information.

Following Admission
After checking in at our center, you will be brought to the private room where the nurse will do a health interview and prepare you for surgery.  You and your family or escort will stay in the room until it is time for your surgery.  The anesthesiologist will review your medical history, answer any questions you may have and explain any anesthesia plans.
At the appropriate time you will be escorted to the operating room.  During surgery your escort will stay in a waiting are and will rejoin you in the Phase II recovery area after your surgery.

Our operating rooms are fully equipped and staffed to accommodate your surgical procedure.
